Mobile Robots on the Shop Floor

We are happy that you would like to participate in our survey on the use of mobile robot systems on the shop floor. With your help, we can better align our research with industry needs. That is why we would like to know: What requirements do you have in your company for a mobile robot in terms of machine tending?

In this case, a mobile robot system consists of an automated guided vehicle (AGV), a collaborative robot (e.g., UR5, UR10, LBR iiwa, or Franka Emika), as well as the necessary handling technology (grippers) and sensor technology (2D/3D cameras, force control). The AGV moves through the building completely autonomously and without fixed lanes. Both the AGV and the robot comply with all guidelines for safe human-robot collaboration (HRC).
