Our expert Dr. Birgit Nierula presented her latest work in the K3VR project at Neural Traces 2024. The Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung funded K3VR project develops an innovative, multi-sensory and AI-supported VR training environment in which police forces can explicitly train de-escalating communication. Dr. Nierula presented her work on „Responses in oscillatory brain activity and electrodermal activity to interpersonal space intrusion“. Reach out to her to connect! On behalf of the Innovation Cluster 5G Berlin e.V., we hosted the event „5G Berlin Spring PoC 2024” last week. Prof. Slawomir Stanczak, chair of the board, opened the event with a presentation of the Innovation Cluster 5G Berlin and provided insights into the status of the 5G Berlin testbed. He highlighted the project results of the successfully completed Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung-funded project OTB-5G+ (Open Testbed Berlin 5G and beyond) and gave an outlook on the currently running projects #CampusOS (Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz-funded) and 6G-RIC Research and Innovation Cluster (BMBF-funded). The 5G Berlin team presented nine different PoC (proof-of-concept) demonstrations live to guests from business, industry, and the Berlin Government.
